- Open up the game, go to Spectator Settings, and enable the Twitch chat once to generate the necessary config files.
- Navigate to your BoomBox game directory and then
BoomBox_Data/ChatIntegrations and open TwitchSettings.ini in a text editor.
- Visit https://www.boomboxvr.com/twitch-token/ to generate your Twitch oauth token. This token will allow the game to display when someone has subbed, cheered bits, redeemed channel points, and raided your channel. This also lets the chat window display the number of live viewers you have. Do not share this token with anyone.
- In your config file, set the
AuthToken to the Twitch oauth token that was generated and set ChannelName to the name of your Twitch channel. Make sure to save the file after making these changes.
After that you're all done! Restart your game to have the new config settings take effect, and you will see that your Twitch chat window has successfully connected.
